I think he kind of comes off that way, for sure. Probably an unavoidable consequence of growing up a rich kid in Connecticut. The more of his stuff I see, though, the more he comes off as just a really opened minded, genuinely nice and really knowledgeable car guy. Take this Mustang, it’s not going to win many drag races, it’s not going to win a dick measuring contest, but theres a lot invested in chassis, brakes, tires, etc. so it’s going to drive damnn good.

Yeah I saw it... I would probably hold them to a higher standard too. But they were doing it for free, also I feel like he just wanted it done fast so he could go drive it. Probably looks better in person, too.

They are entertaining. His podcast is pretty good too. Took me a few episodes to get into it. There’s a lot of weed references but outside of that it’s good. Lots of cool guests.

My immediate reaction when I first saw him was the same, but I’ve watched a lot of his videos and I’ve been listening to the Smoking Tire podcast for a while now and he comes off as a pretty cool guy. Yeah, foxbodymiata is right, he is a rich kid from Connecticut, plus he went to U Penn, so he can seem like a real frat douche sometimes, but overall, legitimately cool car guy.
